In the old Meenachal taluk, there lived a man known as Kulapurram Bheeman. However, this wasn't his real name. The people affectionately called him Bhima due to his superhuman strength.
Despite having a brawny appearance, Bhima was quite handsome. In his youth, he didn't receive adequate nutrition at home, so he ate three meals a day and supplemented his diet with rice for dinner. As this wasn't sufficient for his unique needs, he ventured into the nearby forest, where he would catch rabbits and consume them.
As Bhima grew older, he increased his rice intake but continued to hunt larger animals like deer and pigs in the forest. His method of consuming these animals was unique. He would boil deer and pig together in a pot and then, using a hammock at his home, hang the cooked meat at the appropriate height. Bhima would then swing and bite into the meat, relishing his meals in this unconventional manner.
Bhima had an intriguing and charming personality. Whenever he went hunting for deer, pigs, and the like, he would also bring back tiger cubs from the forest, raising them as if they were kittens. He taught them various games, displaying an unusual bond with these wild animals.
On one occasion, Bhima encountered a massive buffalo in the forest. He grabbed the buffalo's horns and forcefully rubbed its face on the ground, causing the buffalo to lose all its teeth due to excessive bleeding.
The buffalo, injured and defeated, fled back to the forest.
