The Scorpion:
"Brother, help me cross this river. Yes, I know that life is like a river that each one crosses in his own way. But leave the proverbs to the poor Africans. Help me cross on your back. I want to go there and live my poor life that's already lost."
The Turtle:
"I would like to, but as you see, I am also looking for my own. Let me first find something for my little family, and then we’ll see about you."
The Scorpion:
"Yes, but I also want to go to the other side of the river to find food easily. Leave your village and go live the others."
The Turtle:
"I'm sorry, but I was taught the opposite. Happiness is at home. If you think others have it better, then work like they do to make your home like theirs, it's possible. Not for us, but for future generations who might one day live in paradise, right here at home."
The Scorpion:
"Too easy, my friend. Don't forget: a hungry stomach has no ears, and don't ask me to work for future generations. There are people paid for that in this society. I also want to live like others, at least once in my cursed little life. Since I was young, on this damned continent, it's always the same struggles. It's easy for you, you are from the South, so you don't know famine. I beg you, take me there. At least, I will be able to eat to my fill for once!"
The Turtle:
